Product was delivered quickly and all parts associated with unit were in attached plastic bag. If predrilled holes in bug shield had lined up with factory hood holes the product would have been installed in about 15 minutes. Because I had to modify the install, the installation took about an hour to get it right. Overall satisfied with unit. Maybe a little overpriced compared to competitors.

I bought this for my LT-4 engine, since there is no converter made for the LT-4 engine. This is a 350 cubic inch GM engine. The ports are correctly located for the oxygen sensors. The flow area through the active element is "small" and may be cutting my mileage perhaps < .5 mpg. Can't tell for sure, but it is slightly down on one good trip. Engine performance is otherwise good as before. I bought the right side cat converter only. Was able to get the outlet pipe expanded to LT-4 dimensions for free. I am mostly disappointed in the carbon steel pipes. Factory and one aftermarket converter I tried were stainless steel. I am preparing for trouble because of this when replacement becomes necessary, since the outlet side is a slip fit. The brackets to the engine for additional support "almost" fit, but not quite. This is not a big deal, but would be nice if they would fit. My installation may have had something to do with this, since the bracket almost fit. I am hoping this converter will last me more than the minimum 25,000 miles, which is all the last converter lasted me."
