In the past, an average person would immediately think about celebrated European vehicles prominently flaunted in blockbuster movies and high-rated television shows upon hearing the phrase "luxury cars". The Honda Motor Company tried to change this stereotype when it unleashed its division of luxury cars in March 1986 and branded it as Acurathe first Japanese luxury car brand. Now in the Acura division, one model stands out: the Acura CSX. The Acura CSX was designed, built, and sold solely for the Canadian market from 2005 to 2011. It replaced the EL model, which was in production from the years 1997 to 2005.

The Acura CSX parts make it distinguishable from previous modelswith redesigned headlamps, redefined taillights, and remodeled Acura grille. Some of its features were similar with the Japanese Domestic Market (JDM) Honda Civic model such as the 2.0 L Double Overhead Camshaft i-VTEC engine. Its steering wheel was also comparable to the one installed in JDM's Civic as well as the European and American-market Civic models. The Acura CSX was launched in November 2005 and was available in three trims namely: Touring, Premium, and Premium + Navi. Touring, being the base model, had basic Acura CSX parts including 16-inch alloy wheels, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, leather-wrapped steering wheels with controls for the audio system, six-speaker audio system with CD/MP3/WMA capability, side and curtain airbags, cruise control, chrome door handles, and 60/40 split folding rear seats.

Its 2007 model added an auxiliary input jack for the audio system. The 2008 models had additional upgradesleather upholstery, tire pressure monitoring system, illuminated vanity mirrors, and most importantly, vehicle stability assist. In 2009, the model came with the unique Power Plenum grille, Acura's trademark. Indeed, the components of this entry-level luxury car provide great utility and function as well as an exquisite design for both its external and internal features. The Acura CSX certainly redefined the meaning of "luxury cars" since 2005 and has made a difference in its classification of cars.
